Photo Upload Policy

Uploading a photo to this site means agreeing to the rules on this page. They exist because uploading a photo of a real person is a serious thing, and we want the rules to be clear and honest before anyone uploads anything.

What you attest when you upload

By uploading a photo, you attest that both of the following are true:

• You have permission from the people shown in the photo, or you have a legitimate personal relationship to them that makes it reasonable for you to use their image this way.
• You will not use this service — or anything it produces from your photo — to harass, threaten, defame, deceive, sexualize, or otherwise harm anyone, or for any unlawful purpose.

We record the fact that you made this attestation, and the time you made it, alongside the upload.

What we do with your uploads

Your uploads are handled privately and server-side. Specifically:

• Stored privately. Uploaded files are stored in private storage (Vercel Blob). They are served only through an authenticated proxy tied to your account — never at a public or guessable URL, and never to anyone but you.
• Analyzed at most once. A photo may be analyzed a single time to suggest templates and products (for example, a mock magazine cover or membership card). The result is saved so the analysis never has to run again.
• Moderated before any generative use. Before a photo is used in any generated image, it passes through automated moderation. Anything the moderation rejects is not used.

How long we keep them

An upload — both its stored file and its database record — is deleted 180 days after the last time it was used. You can delete your uploads from your account at any time; deletion takes effect immediately. The exception is an image a paid order needs for printing — a photo you uploaded for a custom print, or a poster image we generated — which is kept while that order exists, and is removed when you delete your account or 180 days after it was last used. Deleting your account removes all of it together: uploads, saved plans, and generated images.

Deleting your uploads

You can delete any upload from your account controls, and the deletion takes effect immediately. You can also email support@weaponizedfriendship.com to have uploads — or your entire account — deleted. Deletion honored this way is immediate and cascading, just like deleting from your account.

What you may not upload

The following are never allowed, regardless of the attestation above:

• Photos of people who have not consented, or people you do not have a legitimate personal relationship with.
• Photos of minors.
• Sexual, nude, intimate, or medical imagery of anyone.
• Anything meant to impersonate a real person or to be passed off as a genuine document — no deceptive IDs, notices, or records presented as real.
• Seals, logos, letterheads, or trade dress of real institutions — government, legal, medical, financial, or otherwise. The joke on this site is always an obvious parody of invented organizations, never an imitation of a real one.

Whatever you make with the tools must stay lawful and non-deceptive: it may look official as a joke, but it may not be used to actually deceive anyone or to present a fictional document as real.

Enforcement

If content violates this policy, we remove it. Depending on the violation, we may also suspend or terminate the account responsible. Serious matters may be reported to the appropriate authorities where the law requires it.
